Hey I'm starting my second tank as this hobby is soo addictive.
I've been searching a while now in local forrests for a nice center piece and I've found it.

It's from a large section of windfallen branches and it's exactly what I had in mind. It's oak and absolutely covered in moss.
Having read davecaulks brill posts on using CO2 to sterilise moss etc I'm guessing this would be the best way to get this ready without killing off the moss and whatever other plant life is on it.
Has anyone any experience with this ?
I'm guessing put it in a large plastic sack and fill with CO2 but then how long to leave it for ? And repeat again a week or so later.
