Okay, so I have two 2 year old yellow terribilis and two 1 year old terribilis together in a 48 x 16 x 16 vivarium. I was told that that was more than enough space to put different-aged terribilis in. However, my older terribilis are massive, while the younger ones, which are about a year old, are staying roughly auratus-sized. The difference in size is actually quite striking. So my question is, has their growth been stunted by larger, more vigorous adults, do European lineages tend to produce smaller individuals, or is something else going on? One of them has fairly recently recovered from a vitamin deficiency, and so I'd expect him to be smaller than average, but the other one seems perfectly healthy. Someone on Frog Forum suggested that European lineages produce larger individuals, but I'm still concerned it has something to do with their health. They're both quite active, and are eating well, but compared to the 2-year old terribilis, they're miniscule. Their posture is a bit different, too, more tinctorius-like, and they're a tad more angular than the adults. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what could be causing these "symptoms"? I'm not sure what is wrong but something doesn't seem quite right about this.
