We have these nice palm trees here and where the fronds come off there is this medium reddish brown woven stuff that comes off, kind of "home plate" shaped.
I'm not really sure how to describe it. It's fairly soft and flexible. We were using some to put near roots and around twine we mounted broms to the palms with and I was wondering about using them in my tank between a "retaining wall" and the hydroton.
I know most folks use weedblock, screen or even that cross stitch kinda plastic from craft stores but I was thinking that this might be good for the parts that end up being visible or whatever.
I finally have most the hardscape the way I think I'd want it (and finally jazzed again about setting it up.
Thanks in advance.
