This probably won't be completely finished by...well...tomorrow, but that's ok. It's not a surprise, my mom has been giving input all the way. Here is the progress so far.
It's a 20 gallon long vert (12x12x30). I got a 12x18 cork tile background and cut it up along with a raw piece of cork bark and some tree fern fiber to form the background. The plant is a madegascar staghorn fern. It is a miniature variety, so it shouldn't outgrow the enclosure. I'll also be adding some miniature orchids and other plants and mosses. So far I have silicone on the background and the glass on the bottom that will create the water reservoir. Right now I'm just waiting for silicone to dry enough to keep working on it! The gaps and seams were filled with brown silicone with coconut fiber pressed into it.
