Advice for a new 55 Gallon Build Up

Hi Gang
I tried to get some help in the vivariumforum site, but after 3 days, not one single person even replied..I'm pulling my account, as the point of these sites is collaboration. If I had knowledge, i would truly want to help others..Sorry for the side-track, anyway...

So, some background is that I have a current 29 Gallon Tall Aquarium. I have a custom cut piece of 1/8" glass, with 70% water and 30% land for a handful of Fire Belly Toads. I raised the substrate up with a custom PVC stand, image at the end. Good thing is i waste less substrate during cleanings. I just came up with this idea. Now for the NEW..

I bought a 55 Gallon with a custom all Oak stand with doors/storage, full top hood, and new fluval 406 <think that's a decent one>..and a Spotted Cat ill keep for the new terrarium when im done. I'm sanding it, fixing a few small cracks on the stand, and will stain it with black mahogany..

Stand in the process of sanding, gluing a few spots for reinforcement, and getting this awesome solid OAK stand ready for Black Ebony Stain.

Image below you can see my water leak test, i have a 1/8" double-pane glass separating the two sides. So im trying to figure this out..If i put water in the right side here (The left that has water no will ONLY have the land side), will it buckle under the pressure from the water?? Its sealed, but hell, water weighs a LOT..I need some help with what to do..I love the substrate PVC idea I used to raise everything up, but not sure that will work here..My goal is something that either is self sustaining or easily cleaned give or take several hours..Need some help as to the following

A) How can i setup the left LAND side properly

B) What will keep the water sides glass from pushing it out and breaking

C) Is there a way to build land on the left, that's easily maintained

D) Any thoughts on ho to design this, any help, tips, thoughts very very much appreciated

Lastly, Is there any method you, anyone uses to let your reptiles to go fro the land to the water side? I was thinking of building a custom wooden ramp and painting it, maybe cementing rocks on it like a "Wall" to go into the water side..

Any help, appreciated!

current tank, just for a rough idea on my PVC substrate fix. This elevates it so that a tank cleaning is extremely easy. This is what im trying to get feedback on for me new 55Gal build above..
