I tried to run a fine misting head with a small pump motor. This was the result.
The pump runs on 4-9 volts. The nominal power would be 7.2v but 6v is suggested on this page:

While I think there are great directions to go with this motor and a controller board, it's probably easier to get a 6v 2a adapter and plug it into a digital timer:

Still working on a good housing design to deaden the noise and mount it to the cap.
