feedback?

Hi Guys/Girls I had an idea and was just looking for alittle feedback on the idea from people who have experience that I dont. (i have none this would be an idea for my first build) I want to build a "mote". Basically a 1 inch lip 1/4 inch deep. The entire way around the viv. looking to have kind of a island feel. With out the weight of all the water. Or the threat of losing a frog to the water. I also would use this in my computer case viv. The idea would be to gut or buy a nice computer case (i am a huge gamer so if like to blend the hobbies. Now keeping that in mind I would be keeping the drive Bays or at least one of the 5 1/2 Bays house a five channel fan controller (also for controlling the pump). All controlled by temprature sensors. mounted randomly thruout the tank. :) overboard but that's my style. Also plan on putting a few other goodies. :D . and yes the whole inside of the case will be glass. But from the outside you wont even know. Lol but back to the "mote". Please let me know what you think. I hope I explained it well enough for you all to have an idea of what I am trying to do. Also would it help to prevent FF escapes having no experience yet. I am unaware of there behavior as far as jumping. Or staying away from the water.
