I have wanted a paluradium for a long time but then I came to this board and saw the frogs. (As a kid I was a serious toad collector..no toad in the yard was safe!). I found this tank at the flea market and got it for $25 and immediately thought I would use it for frogs or something like that. NOT fish this time (I have 4 aquariums already). It has been a work in progress for several weeks now and it isn't perfect or done yet but it was enough for me to purchase the frogs today. The store here only had African albino clawed frogs and fire belly toads. I got two fire belly toad (which she told me were newts--no I don't know a lot,, but I knew better than that, lol, but to give her credit, she doesn't speak English very well).
Anyway, so far one is just hiding in the hole in the wood and the other seems to like the water. I have been checking on them and worrying. I didn't know you shouldn't touch them with your bare hands and the fish store woman did and then I did to put them in this tank. It didn't hurt me any and I hope it didn't hurt them.
