Hello,
New member here. I have a spare 10 gallon and wanted to set it up with dart frogs.
Going into this I thought I could keep 5 or 6 of the grape sized darts in here. Obviously those dreams were shattered when I actually started researching.
Could I keep a pair of any of the medium sized species in a 10?
If not I really can't see a good reason to waste a tank. Can anybody convince me otherwise?
Anyway, I need to know which species I'm going for in order to do really intensive research.
I'm looking for a dart that will
Be out and about, not skittish
Very colorful
Have a nice call
Able to breed if I feel so inclined
And obviously fit in my 10. I've read that a pair of thumbnails could be happily accommodated in my tank, but I've also read that they will breed until a certain density is reached. Does this mean they simply won't breed in a 10?
Thanks for any and all advice!
