Propagation questions

Hey guys, I've searched across the forums but can't really find a specific answer. I have a vivarium with my frogs in there, and the plants have really taken over the tank. I have columnea firebird, caladium humboltii, begonia "little darling", and syngonium "neon robusta". I'm curious as to how do I take cuttings from these plants?

I think I have the columnea firebird figured out, just cut below a node where the roots have already grown. I have some branches that have grown off from the main stem, do I cut those off or do I cut off the top of the main stem?

The caladium humboltii is all over the place, tall stringy kind of looking stems for each of the plants... I don't even know how to approach cutting this thing.

As for the begonia, do I take a piece of the rhizome with a few stems and leaves?

Finally, the syngonium... do I take cuttings from the tallest stem/leaves? Do I need to go down to the root and cut down into it?

I know this may all seem really simple to the majority of you, but I have never ever dealt with plants and have no idea what I'm really doing. Give me a seed and I'll stick it in a plastic bag with some wet paper towels and can stick it in the dirt once it germinates but... that's about it. Thank you for your help!!!

Paul
