We went out of town for just a few days and when we got home tonight the house was 48 degrees... :( All tadpoles died, I lost 5 juveniles and my adult pairs were hardly able to move! I had to heat them up one by one in my hands... Apparently the breaker to the heater tripped ! My Benedictas seem to have handled it the best thank god. Does anyone use a form of temperature control in their tanks? My house is small so I'm not able to keep all the frogs in one room and I can't afford to heat my house warmer than 68 in the winter since I have a strip heating unit, soooo not energy efficient! Everyone was doing fine at 68 but I'm looking for some sort of backup system now that this has happened..... :(
