Questions on what type of plants

Hi all...i am new to the forum and also to the hobby :)

Was asking around some friends about plants to be planted into the dart vivarium.
previous tanks were using normal plants but now i wanna use more broms in the setup.

Was told that cryptanthus spp. is too sharp for dart frog tanks... :confused:

And other broms with sharp spikes may hurt and or kill hte frogs that come in contact with it... :confused:

I'm puzzled now :eek:
