Some unit in my apartment building has bedbugs and they are fumigating my unit as a precaution. This has happened before and I have moved my frogs to a friends house for the day during the fumigation. They Terminix guy told me all I need to do is cover the tank in a damp towel during the fumigation and they will be fine which is what I have done with my fish tanks with no problems. I am very worried to do that with a frog tank so I have always moved the frogs and their tank out of the apartment. I have been building a 70 gallon tank and it is almost ready to transfer the frogs to. The tank is very heavy and would be extremely difficult to move the tank somewhere for a day. My question is, if this happens again when the frogs are in this larger tank, would covering all the gaps with "general purpose duct tape" bought at home depot in attempt to make the viv completely sealed be fine? Is there any other way that I can make the tank safe during a fumigation? Thanks for any help
